What education do you need?

To perform this work, you must be registered with the NCCP as an Electrical Engineer and have proof of completion of a core set of four professional electives as outlined in the NCCP guidelines. These four professional electives should cover courses such as Computer-Aided Design, Power System Analysis, Electrical Measurement and Control, and Electrical Engineering Mathematics. You must also be registered with the NCCP as a Certified Safety Professional.
